Big Fat Map
This was our inaugural monster big fat road trip. This 7,100 mile trip in our pop up camper (only seven of us at that time) took us along much of the old Route 66 on our way west to California. We hit many of the classic American stops on the "Mother Road," including Tucumcari, New Mexico and Holbrook, Arizona (near Painted Desert and Pretrified Forest and home of the famous Wigwam Village). We returned to Virgnia along the southern route, which was every bit as fun.
